Pat and Marcia Maffei's shop opened on Main Street, Tiburon in 1981; their imaginative, innovative style & superior customer service quickly set them apart. In 1989, they decided to close the shop & open a design studio in San Anselmo to focus on creating exquisite floral arrangements and decor for events ranging from small dinner parties to large formal weddings and celebrations. Working with a small staff of experienced designers, they are dedicated to quality, personalized service, meticulous planning and unsurpassed attention to detail.

Main St. Floragardens can work with any style or theme, but is known for very natural, lush, flowing arrangements. Marcia likes to use lots of textures, incorporating not only flowers, but berries, vines, brambles, and fruit to create gorgeous, loose-flowing arrangements. The results have been called "magical," "enchanting," "whimsical," "exquisite," and "amazing."

Quality is another key element of their design success. Marcia has been marketing for over 25 years and prides herself on hand-picking the finest quality and most unusual variety of flowers and design materials she can find. She is known as one of the early birds at the Flower Market and the results are apparent. This careful selection is one of the details that sets them apart.

The design team works all over the Bay area and wine country. Their work has been displayed for the past 21 years at "Bouquets to Art," the designer showcase which pairs floral arrangements with art masterpieces.

They have also been featured in magazines and their floral designs are displayed weekly in clubs, restaurants, and homes in San Francisco, Marin, and throughout the Bay area. Weddings and corporate events are their specialty.
